Every week, a few hundred new LLCs and corporations are formed on Long Island. The state publishes them, but in a giant statewide spreadsheet that's hard to use. This site pulls out just Nassau and Suffolk, sorts them by town, and sends a short list every Monday.

It's useful if your business serves brand-new businesses, like accounting, insurance, signs, websites or cleaning, or if you just like knowing what's opening near you.

The data comes straight from the NY Department of State's public filings on data.ny.gov. We don't add contact details and we don't claim every filing is an open storefront. It's run by me, John, here on Long Island, alongside What's Being Built LI.
